Stop buying those cheap playing cards that bend at the corners every time you shuffle. Once you get your hands on these Italian Modiano Cards, you’ll instantly feel the difference. Modiano cards are made of plastic and are heavier and thicker than other plastic playing cards you may have bought in the past. Besides noticing the thickness of these cards, you’ll also feel they have a bit more texture, making it easier to handle and shuffle. If there happens to be a spill on these cards, they won’t be ruined as they can be easily cleaned with some soap and water, as they are 100% hand washable. You don’t even have to be an avid card player to appreciate these high quality playing cards.
We have four different types of cards that range in number of index and size of the pip. Each card is 3.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide. The types of cards we have are:
Texas Hold’em: The pip (card stand and suit) on these cards are printed on the top left and bottom right corners of the cards. They (and the poker and poker index deck) are the largest in index size. This deck of cards also includes two jokers (red and black) and a ‘ranking of hands’ card.
Poker Deck: The pip on these cards are printed on all four corners of the cards. The index size of these cards are the same as the Texas Hold’em and Poker Index deck. This deck of cards includes three joker cards (red, black, and blue).
Poker Index Deck: There are two pips that are the same size as the Texas Hold’em and Poker deck that are on the left and right side of the cards, plus four smaller pips (smaller than the Golden Trophy deck) on all four corners of these playing cards. This deck of cards includes two jokers (red and black) and a ‘ranking of hands’ card.
Golden Trophy Deck: These are considered standard cards as the pip is pretty regular in size. There are two pips... one on the top left corner and one diagonal from it. This deck of cards include two jokers (red and black).
Index refers to the size of the pip (card stand and suit) that are usually displayed on the corner of the cards. Example of a pip: Ace of Spades.
